TEACHING

Groups: I’m available for virtual class visit and in-person visits in the general New Orleans area. Individuals: Over the course of a few sessions, I can walk you from idea to outline to/or draft, and provide feedback when the time is right. I will draw on the materials and skills from my 10+ years of teaching

COACHING

Together we’ll make a schedule for your outline and check in as little or as often as appropriate. Sessions can include anything from writing prompts to pep talks to developmental meetings to written and/or oral feedback. We’ll make a plan together and go from there.
RATES: While these rates depend on need, the general base price is $60/hour. Written feedback on drafts will follow the same rate scale as seen above.

CONSULTATION/DEVELOPMENT
"PICK MY BRAIN”

If you have an idea kicking around, but don’t know where to take it, I will help you organize and make a plan. If you have questions about how to get started, where to submit, which contests to enter and residencies to apply to, I’m happy to give direction based on my years of knowledge. I value honesty, tact, and connection.
RATES: $50-$75/hour, sliding scale.

FEEDBACK

I will read your draft and offer suggestions at the line level as well as for the overall project. After you’ve had a chance to sit with my notes, we will chat for thirty minutes.
RATES: $.07-$.15/word, sliding scale. Each additional 15 minutes beyond the first included 30 = $25.
(Example: 1000 words will cost between $70-$150. There are many resources available online to determine where you fall on a scale!)
